| West Berkshire’s Kick FM is celebrating following the release of the latest audience research figures.
The latest quarterly results show that Kick FM has added a thousand new listeners in West Berkshire over the past year. Those tuning in are also doing so for an average of almost twenty percent longer.*
Programme Manager James O’Neill is delighted with the results. “It’s really important for us to be part of the West Berkshire community. That’s why we’ve been supporting and broadcasting live at events like The Royal County of Berkshire Show, Newbury Carnival, Hungerford Carnival, the Christmas Lights switch on, the Thatcham Rotary Club Fireworks – even the Pancake Race in Newbury! We’ve also done fund raising events like Bring A Pound To Work Day for Macmillan Cancer Support, our Charity Auction Weekend raised £15,000 for the West Berkshire Rapid Response Car Fund, and we had an amazing response to our Children’s Christmas Toy Appeal. A lot of hard work has gone into Kick FM over the past year with our new team, and we’re starting to see the results with an increase in the number of people listening, and listening for longer in an increasingly competitive radio market”.
