| Police have named a six year old boy who died following an accident in Newbury yesterday (Saturday 5th).
Samuel Christopher Burnett, of The Oaks, Newbury, was on his bike on the pavement near his house with two friends, a boy aged 9 and a girl aged 11, when for reasons unknown he fell into the path of a passing grey Ford Transit van.
He was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with severe head injuries where he later died. |
