| Newbury nightclub Seymour's is closing for two weeks to go back to its roots as the Chicago Rock Cafe - newbury.net can reveal. The Cheap Street club is owned by Luminar Leisure, which also owns Liquid in Market Street, and will close for a paint job and new signage from May 7.
Chicagos opened in Newbury in 2000, but changed to Seymours three years later. However, with group sales down 6% on last year, Luminar has taken its nightclubs off the market, and is committed to turning around the performance. |
