Newbury goes firework crazy
01st November 2005 10.47am

There seems to be an unprecedented demand for information on organised firework displays in the Newbury area.

There were a total of 923 page requests for our events diary yesterday (Monday). Over 80% of them requesting information on fireworks, Guy Fawkes, bonfires and similar search criteria. Google proved to be the most popular search engine utilised by 71.5% of those seeking information.

Newbury.net has 2 web pages giving information on firework displays:

If you know of any other displays taking place in Newbury and West Berkshire then please advise us accordingly.

Professionally organised displays are obviously the safest way to enjoy the November 5th celebrations.

Newbury Lions are expecting thousands of visitors to Newbury Racecourse this Saturday for the 400th anniversary of Guy Fawkes.

Please follow this link for details of the Fireworks at the Racecourse
