Newbury in Bloom 2005

The closing date for Newbury in Bloom 2005 has now passed. There are 42 entries with many of these entering more than one of the following categories:

Best private garden, north of the railway line
Best private garden, south of the railway line
Best hanging basket Best floral display by pub/restaurant/hotel
Best floral display at other business premises
Best hanging basket at other business premises
Best trough/tub at other business premises
Best school garden tended by children
Best community garden
Best street of front gardens
Best allotment
Best wildlife garden

Judging will take place on Monday 18th July and Tuesday 19th July 2005. In total there are 65 displays to look at.

The presentation evening will be on 8 September at 7.00pm, in the prestigious Council Chamber in the Town Hall.

A list of the entrants can be see on www.newbury.gov.uk and on request at the Town Hall.

If you missed your chance to enter this year, please call us to have you name put on the mailing list for an application form for 2006.
