Newbury police chase after stolen bike

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the theft of a distinctive mountain bike in Newbury.

The Magna Sandstorm was stolen from St George's Avenue between 4-6pm on 4 June.

The bike is red and has Sandstorm written on it in white. The silver clamp lock and wheel trims have been written on in black marker pen by the owner and the bike is postcoded. it has been seen in recent weeks in the Speen area.

Pc Will Downey at Newbury is investigating the theft and is appealing for people with information about its whereabouts to come forward.
