| Police have appealed for information after a property was targeted twice by thieves last week. The burglaries occurred at an address in Greenham Road, Newbury. The first one happened on Friday (8/4) between 4.15pm and 6.25pm. The offenders are thought to have entered the property via a dog flap or insecure window. Two men were spotted sitting on a neighbour’s wall at around the time of the break in; they are white men aged in their 20s. The first man was about 5ft 8ins, had greasy dark straight hair and was wearing jeans, white trainers and possibly a white tracksuit top, and was rolling a cigarette. The second man is described as lightly tanned. Police would like to speak to these men to eliminate them from their inquiries. On this occasion a mobile phone and DVDs were stolen. The property was then burgled again the following day between 7.30pm on Saturday (9/4) and 10.30am on Sunday (10/4) and this time a lot of electrical items were stolen including a surround sound system and stereo, Skyplus Digi box, camera, passports, alcoholic drinks, a mobile phone and also a silver VW Golf, registration T58EVV, were stolen.
