| Newbury’s official town band, Watership Brass, has had an image makeover, and introduced some snazzy blue jackets just ahead of their 25th anniversary.
The band have just completed a tour of the Cotswolds and will be playing at many of Newbury’s civic functions in town in the near future, along with another tour.
The blue jackets with silver braid are in keeping with Newbury’s official colours, and musical director Mark Picken said: The band look fantastic, we must thank all the people and organisations who have donated to enable us to update our image to such an extent. All the members of the band are very pleased with the end result”. |
