The finishing touches to this year's Newbury Show programme are being put in place as the countdown to the top agricultural event begins.
Next month, more than 60,000 people will descend on Chieveley from all corners of the country for one of the biggest events in the farming calendar.
Shopaholics will be able to browse through 800 stands arranged under themed marquees covering jewellery, food, flowers and gardening products and health and beauty, while show organisers are also laying on camel racing, military bands, motorcycle stunt riders.
Some of the familiar animals will also be making a welcome return, including ferrets, otters, wolves, buffalo, deer and foxhounds. Of course, the cattle judging and showjumping events are also keenly awaited in the surrounding villages.
However, this year there will be a cheese judging and a vast array of poultry, and a hairy demonstration of the powers of off-roading in a 4x4.
The show takes place September 18-19, and more details will be published nearer the time.
