I notice another local news forum is reporting on the Thames Valley statistics, but perhaps the West Berkshire ones are more relevant.

It's all looking good, other than shoplifting (up 3.4%)...and they manage to solve a whopping 22% of crime these days.

But still some worrying signs, like a rape in West Berks reported every two weeks.

We organise regular karting events, from casual meets mostly for first-timers to try out karting with hand controls to team races.  We’re raising funds to buy 2 racing karts, trailer and all the gear needed to enter mainstream competition karting.

I live in Newbury and run KartForce from home.  When we hold events I need someone to assist with preparations and man a stand that sells our merchandise – t-shirts, patches, stickers, etc.  There is also the opportunity to do freelance fundraising during these events, as well as any other events that may generate donations – even run a team of fundraisers.  There will also be other occasional work, such as post office runs and other odd jobs in the area.

WBC hired Parkwood Leisure to run Northcroft Leisure Centre, and hygiene standards in the cafe have just been rated "very bad" by WBC. Not only that, but WBC have little confidence that the situation should improve.
