Personally I am delighted to see the pictures at a decent size - thanks rayb.

They all scanned rather bigger than the ones I've posted. When converting in Photoshop I had to reduce them to the lowest setting for a jpg in order to get them under the size limitation imposed on attachments. It might possibly be my scanner settings as I've just gone with defaults.
